Working Principle

The bucket elevator operates by scooping material from a ​storage hopper​ using ​buckets attached to a belt or chain. The buckets are lifted vertically to the top, where they ​rotate over a head pulley​ and discharge material into a receiving chute.

  • •​Belt-driven models: Use ​rubber belts​ mounted on ​upper/lower drive pulleys​ and ​redirect pulleys.
  • •​Chain-driven models: Employ ​parallel chains​ with ​drive sprockets (top/bottom)​​ and ​redirect sprockets (opposite end)​.
  • •​Enclosed casing​ prevents dust dispersion during operation, ensuring a cleaner workspace.
